Terms of Service / End-User License Agreement

1. The service
GoatOS, operated by Goat Operating Systems (“GoatOS”, “we”), is a subscription software platform that helps small manufacturers manage production, inventory, sales, shipping and bookkeeping. By creating an account or using GoatOS, a customer agrees to these terms.
2. Accounts
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of information they enter, for activity under their account, and for deciding which of their people receive access and at what permission level.
3. Customer data
The customer owns their business data. They grant GoatOS only the permission needed to host, process, back up and display that data in order to operate the service for them. GoatOS claims no ownership of customer products, recipes, records or financial data.
4. Acceptable use
Customers must not use GoatOS to break the law, infringe others’ rights, upload malicious code, attempt to access another customer’s data, or misrepresent records to a regulator or tax authority.
5. Third-party services
GoatOS can connect, at the customer’s direction, to third-party services (such as Plaid, Intuit QuickBooks, Square, Stripe, Clover, PayPal, Canada Post and Envia). Those services are governed by their own terms; GoatOS does not move money — payments are processed by the payment providers themselves.
6. Calculations and records
GoatOS performs tax, excise and other calculations using deterministic software rules configured for the customer’s business. The customer is responsible for reviewing their filings, returns and remittances before submitting them to any authority; GoatOS is a tool, not the customer’s accountant, lawyer or customs broker.
7. Fees
GoatOS is offered in two plans: Core at US$99 per month (CA$125 for customers billed in Canadian dollars) and Pro at US$199 per month (CA$249 for customers billed in Canadian dollars), per company. Both plans include the full platform with unlimited manual use — every feature works by hand, always. Each plan includes a monthly pool of AI-employee usage (Core: 10 million tokens; Pro: 30 million tokens). We warn the customer at 80% of the pool. At 100%, AI features throttle to smaller models or pause until the next month or until the customer buys a top-up — manual work is never limited. Fees are billed monthly in advance, plus applicable taxes. Plan prices may change with 30 days’ notice to account holders.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep GoatOS available and backed up, but the service is provided “as is” without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation. We may improve or change features; we will not remove a customer’s data without notice and an export path.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Termination
We may suspend an account that violates these terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Alberta.
